Death Valley, California
A Land of Extremes.
Death Valley is an (almost) unfathomable place, boasting 3.3 million acres of extreme elevation and temperature differences. Sand dunes the size of mountains, colorful sandstone canyons, and below sea-level salt flats are just some of the stunning and vast array of visions to explore and admire.
Known as the hottest and driest place in America, summer temperatures can easily peak above 120 degrees F° and rainfall averages a measly 2 inches per year!
We only had one day to explore and experience Death Valley, but it made an impression on me. I can't wait to go back and spend a good, long week with my camera.
Please enjoy viewing some of my treasured memories.
